Single Malt Tasting Events By Wine & Whisky Expert Illi Adato

Single Malt Evening consists of a guided tasting/lecture of 4 unique Single Malt Whisky covering the different regions and style of  Scotland. As part of each  tasting we also feature  a 'mystery bottle' of an unusual origin, character or style which the tasters need to decipher.  

As the event organiser, a keen single malt lover and collector, I designed the event to avoids the uninspiring,  diluted, run-of-the-mill malts instead we focus on smaller producers and taste malts with an interesting 'story to tell'.

The cost of tasting  events starts from £ 15 per guest with a £ 200 minimum charge. This price can vary depending on the selection of malts presented.

Cost ? - It depends on what you require. Our basic price is £ 15 per head for 4 whiskies from the major regions to as little as £ 4 per head, depending on numbers. We do however have a minimum charge of £ 200. The price can vary depending on the whiskies selected or any other additions you may require, a cheese buffet for example, priced at £ 8 per guest.

Any Knowledge of Whisky Required ? - NO! The event provides entertainment as well as providing you with a working knowledge of the fine dram. Most of our tastings are to complete novices who are simply looking to pass an enjoyable hour or two, enjoy a dram, learn a little but above all enjoy the occasion. 

Venue ? - Either in your location or one we book on your behalf. Tastings are hosted throughout London and the UK. We also travel overseas if required, whisky travels well and so do we! 

Event Duration ? - Normally we would allocate around 30 minutes to the presentation which is a mixture of humour, history and how best to enjoy your whisky. This is followed by the tasting of 4 or more whiskies. If required or time permits we can introduce a blind tasting with gimmick prizes. In total therefore we are looking at just over an hour to up to 2 hours. 

Minimum / Maximum Number of Guests ? - No. We have hosted events with around 10 people to a large audience of over 250.
